Productivity

This week has been consistent with filling orders, enjoying friends, and good food! Speaking of food, one of my favorites is Ice Cream! We got an ice cream maker for Christmas, and Marc made his first batch of Strawberry ice cream!  I have been enjoying it almost every night... Oh P90X please forgive me!

I also had some time to make a few new headbands last night. Here is a sneak peak- a Shop Update is coming soon, like this weekend soon!

Tea Time

Merry Christmas Everyone!

So one of my favorite gifts this year came from our staff gift exchange. I was introduced to the tea world known as teavana. Basically heaven in a cup!

 

It is so unique, and honestly one of those things that would be hard to buy for yourself, but since it was given to me, I can totally see myself getting into this!

I thought I knew tea before, but this takes it to a whole-nother level! It is a loose leaf brew, and the flavor is  WOW! For someone who is not a coffee drinker, it is nice to know there are till options :)

Well Folks.... It's finally up and running! My store that is...

It has been a long time coming. I started this project in November, and just now have it up and running! Ha! When you work full time, and then come home to be a full time wife, these things just seem to fall down on the priority list! It was a ton of fun! Can't wait to see where it goes! My first sale went to a customer in Australia:).

I am most grateful for all those who helped make this possible! (In no particular order):

Jennifer: My model for the day! Thanks for trusting me, you looked fab!

Marc: Your graphic design skills made my store complete! Your banner  makes the store feel like home.

Fred: Couldn't have opened up shop without pictures! Thanks for letting me use your Camera!

Sweet Tooth

Definitely craving sweets today! A friend passed along this easy cookie recipe I thought I would share:

• 1 Box German Chocolate Cake Mix
• 1 Egg
• 1/2 Tub of Cool Whip

Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl, make into balls and roll in powdered sugar.
Bake at 350 deg. for 12 min and presto!

It's a wonderful rainy day today! We dusted off our coats and put them on in anticipation of cold weather all day. I think it is a great way to bring the month of December in! I couldn't help myself from getting a little coat envy!
