Baby Progression- 8 Weeks

I just found this information on-line and I thought I would update my family on the progress of the baby so far...

How your baby's growing:

New this week: Webbed fingers and toes are poking out from your baby's hands and feet, his eyelids practically cover his eyes, breathing tubes extend from his throat to the branches of his developing lungs, and his "tail" is just about gone. In his brain, nerve cells are branching out to connect with one another, forming primitive neural pathways. You may be daydreaming about your baby as one sex or the other, but the external genitals still haven't developed enough to reveal whether you're having a boy or a girl. Either way, your baby — about the size of a kidney bean — is constantly moving and shifting, though you still can't feel it.

Love the update - I also used babycenter and did a weekly update. It was especially beneficial for all the family members who didn't get to be around for the pregnancy. Makes for a good scrapbook of the pregnancy too. Make sure you get lots of belly pictures - whether you share them with others or not it's fun to watch the progress of that growing belly. Start now even though you're not showing yet - there will be subtle changes you'll want to remember.

Thanks for the advice Buffi! I will have to start taking pictures soon, I feel a little 'puffy' already so there will be a bump with in a few weeks! I want to do a scrapbook like the one you did for sure!
